Police investigators in Nassau County have issued an alert as they hope to track down a wanted man who allegedly stole more than $3,000 worth of property.
An alert was issued by the Nassau County Police Department for 33-year-old Anthony Sala, who is wanted after being arrested for third-degree grand larceny for stealing items worth more than $3,000.
Following his arrest, Sala was released on an appearance ticket and never showed up for court proceedings, leading to a warrant that was issued for his arrest.
Investigators described Sala as a 5-foot-9 man weighing approximately 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police noted that anyone who spots Sala should not attempt to apprehend or detain him.
